On September 8th, the city of New York hosted their annual Fashion’s Night Out. The streets of Soho fluttered with people, going from store to store to see what each offered. At the Adidas Originals store on Wooster Street, McKenzie Eddy performed along side keys player Harold O’Neal.
Central Park was abuzz this past Saturday, June 25th, as part of the City Parks Foundation’s annual Central Park Summer Stage season, a free concert series at Rumsey Playfield in the heart of the park. The show on Saturday featured soul legend, Lee Fields and The Expressions– also on the bill– L.A. based soul group, Fitz and the Tantrums.
DD172 x Bluroc executive/leading lady, McKenzie Eddy, and fellow Whiskey Sister, Nicole Wray, provided backing accompaniment for Mr. Fields’ bluesy-retro time machine of a performance.
Fields proved his veteran talent by serenading the crowd without missing a beat. It was incredible to see him perform live and it was an honor to have DD172xBluroc as a part of his show.
Here are some selects from the evening. All photos were taken by Raquel M. Horn and Evan Brockett
