LOVE CAKE, the first solo EP from Jamaican Singer/Songwriter, Kat C.H.R., via DD172/Bluroc Records! Kat has been performing all over New York City and now it’s time to showcase what she’s been up to in the studio. This album was meant to sound raw and intimate. Kat played all the instruments and has a deep connection with each song.

Check out the latest interview with Ski Beatz and our friends over at Defam Nation. The Defam crew kicked it at Camp Bluroc for the day to interview Ski and other members of the Bluroc team.
There was a packed house in store for the last of our weekly shows at Tillman’s. Ski Beatz & The Senseis played great music for Murs, Da$h, McKenzie Eddy and Najee. A BIG thank you from the BluRoc team to everyone who came out and made our Summer Wednesday’s at Tillmans a huge success!

Last Wednesday GLC, STS, Murs Ski Beatz and The Senseis all came through to Tillmans to show support for McKenzie Eddy’s Young Platinum Release party. Their presence went a long way in making this party a smash.

Last night at Tillman’s was on of the best yet. Ski Beatz and The Senseis crushed another one of their jam sessions. The was a great crowd and great acts. KatCHR, Da$h, Rugz D. Bewler, McKenzie Eddy, were all around to add lyrics to the “Musical Sauce” made by Ski Beatz and The Senseis.
Flipmode was in the building for this past weeks Tillman Blu on Wednesday night. Rah Digga is one of the top female MC’s and anyone who was in the building, now knows why after the performance she put on for us. Najee and Kat CHR also came though to kill it. This past Wednesday was one of the best performances I’ve attented at Tillman Blu NYC. The crowd was an assortment of supportive 20 somethings, well-to-due 30 somethings, and Hip Hop heads galore. This combination made for the perfect environment to see Smoke DZA and Da$h perform on the stage which has now become like a second home for Bluroc artists on Wednesday evenings.
Da$h’s mellow approach brought something special to Tillman’s. He had the crowd swooning. Not a soul spoke when he was rapping. I’ve personally seen his live performances come a long way and this show was the most impactful I’ve seen of his. It seems like the beginning of an illustrious career for the 19 year old, Dash, who now has me staring at the 60 dates that he and other bluroc artists (Murs, Tabi Bonney, Sean O’Connell, Ski Beatz, McKenzie Eddy) are about to embark on.
