This past Wednesday was one of the best performances I’ve attented at Tillman Blu NYC. The crowd was an assortment of supportive 20 somethings, well-to-due 30 somethings, and Hip Hop heads galore. This combination made for the perfect environment to see Smoke DZA and Da$h perform on the stage which has now become like a second home for Bluroc artists on Wednesday evenings.
Da$h’s mellow approach brought something special to Tillman’s. He had the crowd swooning. Not a soul spoke when he was rapping. I’ve personally seen his live performances come a long way and this show was the most impactful I’ve seen of his. It seems like the beginning of an illustrious career for the 19 year old, Dash, who now has me staring at the 60 dates that he and other bluroc artists (Murs, Tabi Bonney, Sean O’Connell, Ski Beatz, McKenzie Eddy) are about to embark on.
