Welcome to Day 1 of 60 on The Hip Hop & Love Tour. Yesterday morning McKenzie Eddy, Sean O’ Connell, Dash, Joe Blaxx, Brady Watt Harold O’ Neal and myself boarded a way too early flight from Newark, NJ to Phoenix, AZ where we were greeted by Tabi, Murs, and his wife and whisked us off to Tempe to meet up with Ski Beatz and Jamie, our tour manager, at the hotel.
Da$h and I escaped the crew to take quick ride with one of his old friends and check out some sights. We met back up with the crew to get some quality time and eat good at Lo Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. Then it was off to work at a rehearsal space where the band and artists spent all night revising and perfecting their sets.
The scenery in Arizona is surreal. The knarly, jagged mountains out here would make the woodsy, green mountains on the east coast cry and not even think twice about it.
